Translate Foreign Language Chat Messages in Real-Time on CallTrackingMetrics

by CallTrackingMetrics

Does your business communicate with customers around the world? If so, our new translations feature in our chat product can be a real life-saver for your sales and service teams.

We’ve written before about the importance of offering live chat as a communication channel for your business, and our latest feature is about to take your chat conversations to a whole new level. Our chat product can now automatically translate foreign language interactions back-and-forth for both the agent and end-user in real time. This is a great opportunity to scale your sales and support efforts around the world, without necessarily having to add more foreign-language speaking employees.

Scale your customer base around the world, without hiring native language speakers to support them.

Global business expansion is on the rise, with 58% of small businesses already servicing international customers, and 72% planning to grow their international customer base. Yet not having the resources in place to communicate with customers in their native language across countries presents a real barrier for this expansion.

Translations via live chat, however, offer a seamless way to communicate with customers globally, all within your CallTrackingMetrics account.

How It Works

Our translations feature automatically detects and translates foreign language interactions for both the agent answering chats, as well as the customer. For instance, if you speak English but your customer is trying to chat with you in Spanish, the translation application will automatically detect that the customer is speaking in Spanish but deliver the message to you in English so you can quickly and easily read the message and respond.

When you respond back to the person in English, it then automatically translates to Spanish for your customer, allowing for friction-free conversations and empowering you to provide better support more quickly for customers around the world.
