Period vs. Global Unique Callers

Last Updated: 08/02/2017 Back to Topic All Articles

As some callers may call more than once, it may be useful to know how many calls were from unique individuals in a given time period. These are shown as Period Unique and Globally Unique.

Period Unique shows how many calls were unique during this time period. If the same person calls outside of this time period, they are more likely to be calling about something unrelated to the previous call, and can be considered unique in that regard.

Globally Unique shows how many calls were unique for the lifetime of the account. This value will always be less than Period Unique as it does not include repeat callers outside of the time period.
