Marketing Coordinator

This position is located in our Severna Park, MD headquarters

Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator position will assist the marketing team in the implementation of all marketing activities, working closely to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and ultimately generate new business leads. This is an entry level marketing position with cross-departmental exposure and growth opportunities.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with content development and implementation of online communications, including: email campaigns, webinars, social media updates, websites
  • Assisting with website maintenance and updates (WordPress)
  • Developing and maintaining social media & blog topic calendar
  • Coordinating logistical aspects for trade show exhibits and special events, including researching pricing, communicating with vendors, tracking deadlines, and packing/shipping materials
  • Maintaining promotional materials inventory
  • Providing backup support for webinars and recorded webcasts, interacting with vendors to facilitate platform usage, and following up with all participants
  • Assisting with proofreading and editing as well as creating content for the blog, website, social media, and email campaigns
  • Utilizing skills in PPT, Keynote or Google Slides to generate presentation materials for conferences and webinar events
  • Assisting with the development of display ads
  • Assisting with the content collection and layout of our recurring internal & external monthly newsletters


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising or Marketing field
  • 1-2 years in a supporting Marketing role
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, and PPT
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop), a plus
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords and marketing automation a plus
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, innovative, creative and forward-thinking
  • Willingness to travel and work conferences in the USA and Canada
  • Experience managing social media platforms in a professional environment
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently
  • Effective organization and time-management capabilities
  • Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
