Senior Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team! Put your creative skills to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial marketing environment. You will work with the marketing team to coordinate various marketing activities, manage social and reputation management, update and maintain our digital presence (social, website, and third-party reputation sites), and develop creative marketing collateral. The Marketing Coordinator will also be heavily involved with conference coordination to include preparation, logistics, and occasionally onsite representation.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Marketing & Design

  • Assist with content development and implementation of online communications, including: newsletters, blog posts, emails, and website updates
  • Own social media channels and come up with a topical calendar for each month, and pre-schedule posts to coordinate with other promotional efforts and announcements each month
  • Research and keep up-to-date on our external landscape, particularly social identity, to make sure we are market leaders in the space
  • Maintain online reputation by ensuring timely responses to social media inquiries and online reviews, and escalating negative comments to your manager for proper responses
  • Assist with the development of creative for projects like: display ads, blog posts, newsletter graphics, website graphics, and marketing collateral
  • Help coordinate new employee onboarding activities that are marketing-specific (headshot session, adding team members to the website, generating email signature blocks, and managing business card orders)
  • Develop presentation materials (slide decks) for sales enablement, conferences, and leadership team
  • Create and edit short videos using tools like Lumen5, Vyond, and Adobe Premier to be used in various marketing campaigns and social initiatives
  • Provide additional support to the marketing team as needed

Conferences & Event Planning

  • Manage all logistical aspects for trade show exhibits and special events, including researching pricing, communicating with vendors, tracking deadlines, and packing/shipping materials for events (must be able to lift up to 40lbs)
  • Maintain promotional materials inventory, and manage ordering process with third-party vendors
  • Keep conference supplies organized in the office, receive return shipments, and unpack
  • Manage conference expenses against budget allocations
  • Help maintain master calendar of events
  • Arrange and book travel for the attending personnel
  • Help plan and organize internal office parties and events
  • Occasionally attend conferences to assist with booth set up, scout locations, and identify target audiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or Marketing field
  • 3+ years in a related position
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Photoshop), and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience managing social media platforms in a professional environment
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords and marketing automation a plus
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, innovative, creative and forward-thinking
  • Willingness to travel and work conferences
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently
  • Effective organization and time-management capabilities
  • Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
