Sr. Manager, Demand Generation

This position is located in our Severna Park, MD headquarters

Fantastic opportunity for strong demand generation manager 

The successful candidate will establish and standardize results-driven methods to scale our demand generation strategy and full lifecycle marketing solution. In this role, you will create and implement campaigns to drive fulfillment of the company’s sales and revenue targets.

In this creative role, you’ll be given the opportunity to build programs and strategies from the ground up. The ideal candidate should be comfortable analyzing metrics, researching audiences and developing target personas, and creating opportunities to increase the conversion of web leads.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with related teams (e.g., onboarding, customer success, sales, marketing) to devise a lifecycle strategy for success (e.g., engagement, retention, growth, customer, and advocacy)
  • Execute search strategies to grow and improve performance through new campaigns, keyword opportunities, campaign and ad group structuring, audience targeting, remarketing, and other facets of PPC media to meet lead/conversion goals
  • Research and refine target keywords relevant to the company, competitors, audiences, and core product features
  • Understand our ideal customer, and competitors and build similar audience lists for highly targeted ad campaigns
  • Working with our Content Marketing Manager to deliver messaging, landing pages, and deliverables that convert
  • Drive SEO tactics with our internal content manager to optimize website pages and blog for organic search traffic
  • Measure, document, and communicate the effectiveness of all programs, providing regular reports and updates including traffic, conversion rate, marketing qualified leads, sales qualified leads, direct signups, and CPA
  • Collaborate with marketing to create landing pages that convert, based on keyword research and a SEO-first approach 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ B2B marketing in a demand gen capacity at a growth SaaS company
  • Demonstrable success leading strategy and implementation for ROI-based marketing/ad programs
  • Front line experience working with account-based marketing tools, methodologies and strategies
  • Thorough knowledge of SFDC and HubSpot (or similar marketing automation platform), with the ability to take charge of automating marketing campaigns
  • Superior analytical skills, with the ability drill down into campaign data to report on program ROI and overall success
  • Experience developing messaging/copy for ad campaigns, based on target goals, keyword research, and competitor analysis
  • Experience using SEO insight tools, such as SEMRush, Moz or similar
  • Experience building audience lists in Google Ads and creating highly targeted search, display, Gmail, and remarketing campaigns based on these segments
  • Strong organization, time and project management skills
  • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Must have a flexible, team player attitude and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace
