Last Updated: 06/26/2019

Call log data can be exported via email (as .csv or .xls) or via FTP.  Exports can be filtered by date range, tracking number, tracking source, duration, and more, and you can also select which fields are included in the exported file.

Exporting Calls

  1. From the call log page, click the export button in the black toolbar at the top of the page.  Or, from any page in the application, navigate to Calls → Export Calls.
    • If you wish to export all calls from this account to the email address you’re logged into, with no filters or date ranges applied, simply scroll to the bottom and click Run Export Now.
  2. Select your export method from the drop-down and confirm any required information (your email address for email delivery, or server details for FTP).
  3. If you wish to refine your export by a particular search term, enter your search term in the Search field.
  4. Use the Filters section to apply your desired filters such as date range, tracking numbers, tags, call duration, and more.  If you have any saved filters, you can apply them on this page.
If you have access to multiple subaccounts within an agency, click the toggle labeled “Export for all subaccounts” to export call data for all of them at once.
  5. In the Formatting section, select your desired phone number and timestamp format.
  6. The default file type for export is CSV.  Use the Export format drop-down to change this as needed.
  7. The Fields section displays which fields will be included in your export.  By default, all fields are included (shown in the list on the right in this section).  Click on field names to remove or include them as needed.
  8. If you wish to use these settings the next time you export call data, check the box labeled Remember export options.
  9. Click Run Export Now.  If you are exporting a large amount of data, please allow a few minutes for the report to be generated and sent to you.

Applying Additional Filtering with Matchback

The Matchback feature allows you to upload a list of phone numbers to use with this export.  The export that you generate will only include records that come from one of the numbers that you have uploaded with the Matchback feature.

For example, if your account has received calls from 100 different numbers, but you need to see call activity from 20 specific numbers, use Matchback to specify the list of 20 numbers you want to filter for when exporting the call log.

To run an export using Matchback:

  1. Follow the steps above to make sure you have the correct recipient email addresses, filters, and other preferences applied for the export you wish to receive.
  2. Click or scroll down to the Matchback section of the page.
  3. Click Export with Matchback.
  4. Click Choose File and select the CSV file containing the numbers you wish to use as a filter for this export.
  5. When the file has been uploaded, find the column of phone numbers in your spreadsheet and use the drop-down menu to select Phone Number for that column.
  6. If the first row of your spreadsheet contains headers or labels (such as Name or Phone Number), check the box labeled Exclude first row so that the label is not included in the filter.
  7. When you have finished applying all of the desired settings for your export, click Run Export Now.

Scheduling Regular Exports

You can receive the call log export on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis by creating a scheduled export.

  1. Follow the steps above to make sure you have the correct recipient email addresses, filters, and other preferences applied for the export you wish to receive.
  2. Click or scroll down to the Schedule section of the page.
  3. Use the Delivery interval drop-down to select whether you would like to receive the export on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  4. Use the Run at drop-down to select the time of day the export should be generated.
  5. Click +Schedule Export to save your settings.

To edit or delete scheduled exports, click Manage Exports… to view all of your scheduled exports and make changes as needed.

If you have access to another account that has a saved scheduled export, you can use the “Copy Export Settings from Account” drop-down to import a scheduled export from another account.
